For the bachelor of hotel management, required qualifications of student must fall under the following criteria

Students who have cleared 12th standard examinations, from all streams, are eligible to apply for this course. Minimum marks criteria exists in case of many Institutes. It may vary between 45-50% marks, in 12th Board examinations.

For hotel management, you need to understand the basics of accounting & some parts on business sense as well.

Hotel Management is course which is a mixture of both commerce and science. You'll have to study subjects like Nutrition, Food Science and Hotel Engineering from science side and subjects like Accountancy, Marketing and Communication from commerce side. All these subjects are non-core subjects in Hotel Management.

There are only 4 core subjects namely:

Food and Beverage Service, Front Office, Food Production, Housekeeping/Accommodation Operations.
