Hello,

When it comes to the eligibility criteria for major banking exams such as SBI PO/Clerk, IBPS PO/Clerk, RRB Assistant/PO candidates need to pass graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with no specific aggregate requirements, the aggregate factor becomes only if you want to apply for RBI Assistant/NABARD Grade B Officer where 50% aggregate in graduation in mandatory in bachelor's degree, for RBI Grade B officer 60% aggregate is mandatory at graduation level, you can also apply for the post of assistant or AAO in insurance companies, for the post of generalist there is no barrier of belonging to specific stream, only in case of specialist the eligibility criteria varies, you can also initiate your preparation from the final year of graduation such as being acquainted with the syllabus and exam pattern, banking exam is all about speed and precision, hence practice is of utmost important, so you can go through required books, previous year papers or even sample papers which you can easily find at any competitive exams sites for practice purpose, so through this gradual manner you can initiate your preparation.

Hi

Yes, after your BA you can appear for any banking examination like SBI PO , SBI clerk etc.

This is because,

To be eligible to banking exams, there is no restriction on the discipline from which one pursues graduation, so it doesn't matter whether it's BA or BSc or any other degree, all you need is a bachelor's degree in any discipline.

For your reference,

SBI clerk 2021 eligibility criteria is given below :
