Cyber Crime Cell:
- In order to join the cyber crime cell you need to do your Bachelor's compulsorily, Master's is optional but doing it will improve your job prospects.
- After the completion of your education it is suggested that you do an internship so as you gain some field experience and become more eligible for special agent training programs.
- Cyber crime departments are included in organisations like CID, CBI, IB.
- In order to join the CID you need to appear for the Combined Graduate Prelimnary Examination (CGPE) conducted by the SSC board every year. The age limit for this examination is from 20 to 27 years.
- In order to join the CBI you need to appear for the examinations conducted by UPSC. This exam is held once a year for the post of Sub-Inspectors of Police in CBI and the forms are published in the employment news in October.
- You can join the CBI or CID and then transfer to the cyber crimes department.
- To be eligible you should have completed you graduation in any discipline preferably IT/CSE for Cyber Cells. Certain physical requirements state that you should be a minimum of 165 cm in height and you should have a 6/6 vision. Your age should be between 20 to 27 years.

For joining the cyber department you should an expert in ethical hacking and for this, you should have the deep knowledge of cybersecurity.
If you are a beginner or wants to build a career in cyber security field then I would recommend you join any of the best training institutes and become an expert.
As far as I know cyber crime don't recruit directly. They take some intelligent officers from police and train them in cyber crime and cyber forensics.
But there are other options to get in like clear NIC ,IET exams and join there and from there if you can show your ability to solve cybercrime than they can shift you to cybercrime department.
