i am 2018 passout student but i have one backlog in each 7th and 8th sem. can i apply for gate or what documents is required.
The candidates with backlogs (failed subjects) in any of the subjects in their qualifying examination will have to upload a copy of any of the mark sheet of the final year issued from the institute where he/she was studying. You can check the further information with the given below link.

Firstly you will have to clear your both backlog and than only you will be eligible for gate exam. Because at time of filling appication form you will required to give either 8th semester marksheet or provisonal certificate.
