i am a 2020 passout student and having a active backlog in 4th semester please tell if i am eligible for gate exam 2022 or not

Unfortunately, you seem to be not eligible for GATE as the eligibility criteria says that your backlogs should be cleared before taking admission in any MTech or GATE based colleges.
You are qualified to take the GATE only if you can pass your backlogs until final semester examinations within four years. However, because you have a backlog yet have already passed out, you are not qualified for GATE. To be eligible, you must finish your backlog.
