I am a 23 yrs old Biotech graduate. But I always wanted to pursue medicine. Am I eligible to apply for JIPMER now?
Hello Madhu, please check out the following link for detailed info on JIPMER: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/jipmer
The eligibility criteria for JIPMER is
- Indian national or overseas citizen of India
- Should be minimum 17 years during the time of admission, there is no upper age limit.
- should have cleared class 12th boards with PCB/biotech and english as compulsory subjects with minimum aggregate 50% or Gen and 45% for Sc/ST/OBC/PH
If you have the other two criteria cleared and since you are already above 17, you can sit for JIPMER in the consecutive academic session.
Good Luck.
Feel free to comment if you have any doubt
Good luck
To be frank, as per my knowledge there is no
upper age limit for jipmer
for example: one student whom I met has
given jipmer in 2018 is of age 20+, so by this, I
think there is no exact age limit.
Even I have gone through a well-known
website about jipmer there is no mention of
an upper age limit
So my suggestion is to try your best and
forget the rest.
