I am a bcom student and after completing my course i wish to go for mba in iim so what kind of a preperation could i take for that

Prepare for CAT.
Build a strong profile as IIMs will not accept you just based on a CAT score.
Finish your UG degree with as high scores as you can.
Do relevant internships, projects etc.
