I am sorry to say if you are a general category student then you won't be able to apply for CAT examination because as an eligibility criterion to appear in CAT examination you need to have atleast 50% marks in 10th, 12th and graduation. If you are an SC/ST category student then there is a 5% relaxation and you need to have atleast 45% marks in all the 3 academic areas i.e. 10th, 12th and graduation.
As you have less than 50% so it will be very difficult for you to find out a good college even after sitting in other MBA exams like XAT because many colleges also have an eligibility criterion of atleast 50% in graduation. So, make sure you think about the choices available to you before you start your preparations for MBA exams.
All the best!!
Dear Saroj, Iam sorry to inform you that, with less than 50%marks you would not be eligible for CAT and it would also be tough for you to apply in oyoth MBA entrances like MAT,CMAT and XAT.
So I kindly recommended you to make sure and consider your choice of going for an MBA.
