I am a BSc Chemistry student apeearing for CAT 2021. Is my background considered as eng. or non-eng-engg? Some are saying that it's equivalent to engg. since I have science background. What's the reality in terms of CAT?
Nope! You are in the non engineering group. Most of the degrees those are introduced under the engineering group are:
- BTech/BE
- MTEch/ME
- BARCH
- BPHARM
- BDES
This are correlated domain of engineering so they are fitted under the group of engineering. But for BA/BSc/BCom/MBBS/BBA its all in the non-engineering group.
