I am a B.Sc Industrial Chemistry student, am i eligible for Nimcet exam or not ? Give answer in yes or no then explain the eligibility criteria for Mca too ...

Hi


Do you have maths or Statistics as one of your subjects. in your B.Sc Industrial Chemistry?

  • If yes, then you are eligible


  • If not, then you are not eligible.


This is because,

Nimcet  eligibility criteria is :-

--------) minimum educational qualification :- you need a B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) /   BCA   / BIT degree of minimum 3 years from any recognized University with   Mathematics   or  Statistics as one of your subjects.

Or   you should have B.E. or B.Tech  from a recognized University

--------) Minimum marks in graduation :- you need at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale if you are from general /obc category Or at least 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale if you belong to SC /ST

-------) Passing Year : -Not after September of the year of examination .

--------) Nationality :- you should be Indian

Yes, I do have mathematics in two of my semesters... But not through out the graduation (i.e. in every semester), so I am eligible or not for NIMCET ?

Dear Student ,

You are eligible for NIMCET only if you  have math/statistics as  one of your subjects in graduation .

following are the eligibility criteria for NIMCET  :

  • B.Sc /BCA/BIT from any recognized institutes with math/stat as one of the subjects
  • 60% minimum marks
  • Min. Passing year should be 2022 for NIMCET 2022
