As a B.Sc. Physics student, eligibility for Electrical, Power, and Energy Engineering (MTQP10) through CUET-PG depends on the university.

Key Points:

Most M.Tech programs require a B.E./B.Tech. degree in Electrical or related fields.

Some universities may accept B.Sc. Physics graduates, but additional bridge courses might be required.

Check individual university eligibility criteria before applying.

If your degree isn’t directly eligible, consider applying for M.Sc. or interdisciplinary programs in related fields.

For CUET PG , the exam you've applied for, MTQP10 Electrical Power and Energy Engineering, is a subject-specific paper.

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for Electrical Power and Energy Engineering courses vary across universities, but here are some general guidelines:

1. Qualifying Exam: You should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related branch.

2. Qualifying Marks: You should have secured a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in your qualifying exam.

3. Relevant Subjects: Your Bachelor's degree should have included subjects like Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Control Systems, and Electrical Power Engineering.

BSc Physics Background:

As a BSc Physics student, you might not have a direct background in Electrical Power and Energy Engineering. However, if you've taken relevant elective courses or have a strong foundation in mathematics and physics, you might still be eligible.

CUET PG Exam:

The CUET PG exam is a qualifying exam, not an admission guarantee. Even if you perform well in the exam, your admission to the desired course will depend on:

1. University-specific eligibility criteria: Each university may have additional eligibility criteria, such as a minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying exam or specific subject requirements.

2. Seat availability: Admission will also depend on the availability of seats in the desired course.

3. Merit list: Your admission will be based on the merit list prepared by the university, considering your CUET PG score and other eligibility criteria.

To confirm your eligibility and the specific admission criteria, I recommend:

1. Checking the university's website: Visit the website of the university you're interested in applying to and check their eligibility criteria for Electrical Power and Energy Engineering courses.

2. Contacting the university: Reach out to the university's admission office or department to clarify any doubts and confirm your eligibility.

Remember, even if you're eligible, admission is not guaranteed. Focus on preparing well for the CUET PG exam, and you'll increase your chances of getting admitted to your desired course.
