CAT syllabus is same for everyone. More than three forth of students in top bschools are engineers. Due to this reason, most of top institutes give weight for academic diversity. There is no specialization ideal for enginneers, means you may take any specialization and you can find engineers are there in any specialization including finance. You may decide your specialization at the end of first year and by that time you will get fair idea about each specializations.

If you look at the Indian education system and count the number of engineers out there you would found them everywhere. Same is the case with MBA, most of the college has the majority of students as B.Tech degree holder in their UG programme. So there is no limit of scope or availability of chances to them in MBA.



You would surely have most of the opportunity what any other degree holder would have.
