I am a class 12 pcb student can I give CA exam
Hi Saksham,
Yes, you can go for the CA Intermediate examinations by two methods.
First, clear your 10+2 and sit for the CPT and CA Foundation examinations and clear them. Then you can go for CA Intermediate examination.
The second option is you can directly apply for the CA Intermediate examination as a non-commerce graduate if you have secured 60% and above in your 10+2 examinations.
Yes of course, Chartered accountancy is a course where you don't need to opt for commerce specifically unlike in engineering, medical, etc.
Although having a commerce stream is preferred but it is not a deciding factor to pursue this course. When I say it's preferred, it's only meant to ease out the initial few months to get yourself familiar with the course and nothing beyond that at all.
This course pretty much requires just the basic maths and not much of what's taught in Class 11th and 12th (Except the subject of Accountancy) comes of use here. Even the subject of Accountancy that is taught at the school level can be picked up quite easily.
This course requires a very average IQ and you can ace it just with some extra hardwork.
Hope it helps.
