I am a class 12th PCM student ..can I apply for BHU entrance??? for humanities subjects...how should I prepare for the entrance what might be the syllabus?

As you are PCM student and want to apply in the BHU for humanities course. Yes you are eligible for that.
If you want to prepare for the BHU entrance exam. The following are some points:
- Go through all the previously years question papers of the entrance test. BHU provides previous online test papers in it's own official site. You must go through it.
- Secondly after roughly analyzing the question papers look for the syllabus available for the entrance in it's official site.
- Now you have completed 50% of your tasks. After collecting all the above information start preparing according to the pattern of the exam
- Don't forget to practice the mocks. they are the key to any competitive exam. You may practice the previous question papers as well the books available in the markets
- Don't forget your basic concept is all u need to get through. You are not looking for IIT. So just clear all your doubts . Command over formulae. Also, numerical is a must to do thing.

Yeah! A student of PCM can also appear for the BHU UET examination for the Humanities subject. The minimum requirement is that the student should secure 50% marks in 10+2.
Now as you are from a different field, then you need to invest time for completing the entire syllabus of the entrance. For that you need to know the syllabus and prepare it. The syllabus for the BA social Science and BA Arts are provided below:
General Awareness, General mental ability, Numerical ability, Basic knowledge of plants and animals, Environment and its pollution, Human body, Human health, Common diseases, Population explosion, Production of food and raw materials, Solar system, Climate and weather, Natural resources of industry, History, Indian cultural heritage with special focus on major currents in Indian thoughts, Literature and art.
To get some background to your preparation, you can obviously study from the previous year question papers as it will provide you a idea about the examination.
