I am a commerce graduate and now seeking admission for M.com . What else i can study along with it?
Hi Harshali!
Greetings!
It depends largely on what are you choosing to opt. This must first be focused by you.
- Now a days business research is high in demand for thus you need to learn statistics and statistical packages for research and analysis such as SAS.
- If you good in applied math can go for any programming languages such as Python or Jaws etc.
- If you good in account go for tally and others.
- If you good go for business law and company secretaryship courses.
- Also can go for strategic finance etc.
However learn language and computer based software, thst is more in demand.
You should also try preparing for SSC CGL and UGC NET. SSC can get you a good govt job while Net is the eligibility for lectureship.
And also, you can try
- Diploma in company laws
- Full time or correspondence course in digital marketing
- Part time course in financial research.

CA is the best career option for the
Commerce students and hence many
students after their commerce plan to make a
career in the CA. Students who have an
interest in the Accounting and Auditing they
can make a good career in the CA field
students who have completed their
Graduation or who are going to complete can
apply for the CA course through the Direct
Entry Scheme. Under this scheme a student
who has completed Graduation from
Commerce need to have at least 55% marks in
the graduation and should have studied any 3
subjects of 100 marks each
Accounting,Auditing,Costing, Taxation
Management Accounting, Business
Administration.
Through Direct Entry Scheme student do not
need to give a CPT exam and gets directly
admitted for the IPCC group.
After taking an admission under the Direct
Entry Scheme a student can complete the CA
course in 3 to 4 years. Whereas you also
consider the 3 years of Internship. If we count
together it will take around 5-6 years to
complete the CA course.
