Yes you can go for English hons, if you have interest in reading English literature, but for that you need to have English in class 12th, most of the colleges taking admission in English honours on the basis of your class 12th marks, so if you have scored good marks in class 12th then you can get a good college for English honours, the minimum eligibility criteria to get admission in English honours is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 with English as a mandatory subject to have studied in class 12th, the course fee for the same is from 8,000 to 1.5 lacs, varies from college to college.
