As you are a commerce student you are not eligible for bsc in IT.
but you can do BCom in information technology.it is also a good field you will get many career options in that and your growth will also increase.
BCom studies the application and use of the computer and information systems in the organisation .
Now it's up to you what you want to choose
If you don't want to do BCOM IT then just go for another course. Commerce has other courses like accounting, finance, CA, etc also you can take that.

BSc in Information Technology is a 3 years UG course, which is concerned with the study of storage, processing, and management of an organization's data.
The basic eligibility criteria for the course is that the student needs to qualify the 10+2 examination with physics , chemistry , mathematics , computer science from a recognized board.
Also some institute needs to qualify the entrance such as NEST, IISER, UPCATET, GSAT.
So Commerce stream aren't eligible for the course of BSc in Information Technology.
