Dear aspirant, here's the basic tips that you can follow to start preparing for JEE MAINS.
  • Go through the complete syllabus of JEE.
I guess this is the most important step. Knowing the syllabus and exam pattern in deep saves your time. Since the new exam pattern has taken over the older one so knowing the exam pattern becomes very important

  • The books and study material required for JEE preparation.
Explore as much as you can about books, other study materials related to jee. If you find right one that suits you collect them and stick to them till JEE MAINS. Generally books like H.C Verma, TATA Magraw Hill, D.C Pandey, Resnick and Halliday, I.E Irodov etc. are some of the most preferred by students for JEE MAINS preparation

  • Prepare a study schedule or time table.
Start preparing as early as possible. Make a good time table in which you don't feel pressurized. Managing JEE preparation with school can be hectic sometimes but never even give up. Study regularly and stick to your timetable in any condition.

  • Understand the basics, strengthen concepts and make a habit of problem solving.
So, I have mentioned some of the best books. But, what if you don't know the basics. NCERT should always be your first book. If you finish topics from NCERT then solve problems after that touch aforementioned books. It's always helpful to start with basics. Jumping directly to competitive books is just like wasting your time.

  • Be determined and stay consistent.
Many times students loose determination or they get distract easily. Consistency and determination are the pillars that can make anyone achieve feats.

  • Take small breaks between long study hours.
Taking small breaks between study relaxes your mind and relieves stress. If you study constantly without taking break then it may affect your health.

  • Keep revising your learned topics.
Never be over confident about any topic. Keep revise that topic after regular intervals. This will ensure that these topics will be there within your mind every time.

  • Focus on small goals to achieve big result.

  • Measure your learning and performance.
Last two points don't need any explanation, these are straight forward. I guess I have provided you with ample amount of information that can boost your spirit. So, start your preparation today only.
