dear aspirant,
if you are not taking the coachings first you main aim is to cover the whole ncert books, specially for chemistry portion.
according to me first go through the whole ncert syllabus then take the reference books . in most of the reference books behind the chapter their is a portion of competitive exam.
the books that i have used perrsonally,
in chemistry pradeep books
in physics s.l arora books
and in maths you can take arihant books
thank you
good luck
Hey Adarsh,
NO matter you are a dropper and you are willing to prepare for JEE mains, all you need to do is a self study. Self study is the formost key to achieve marks in JEE entrance exams. Now coming to the books then after many researches I found these books to be very helpful when I appeared for my JEE exams. For chemistry you should prefer Arihant publication for complete course
1.(book name- chemistry for JEE main)
2.or you should prefer IIT chemistry by-O.P Tondon
for physics prefer H.C verma (book name- H.C verma- concepts of physics vol 1 & 2)
for matha you should prefer arihant publication because there you will get detailed answers and previous yeae papers too.
Hope you find it useful.
Thank you.
Hi Adarsh,
For clearing JEE Mains, you have to have fundamental knowledge of your subjects. Critical thinking is not mainly required in JEE Mains. First of all, be sure to complete all NCERT books because they are the basis of JEE Mains. Once you have a good command on NCERT, you can opt for books like HC Verma for Physics, SL Loney for Trigonometry, DC Pandey for Mechanical Physics and Arihant Publication's Previous year questionairre. Previous year questions are the most important along with NCERT.
Wish you all the best.
