I am a Foreign National from Nepal. My age is 25+. I have done my Graduation from University of Delhi in BSc(H) Zoology. Can I apply for MBBS
Dear Student,
As per the Rules and Regulation of
NEET
which is
NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY cum ENTRANCE TEST
for all the medical fields' admission and eligibility process.
To apply for MBBS, you must clear the
NEET EXAM.
NEET Rules and Regulations until 2019:
-
The Candidates must at least be
17 years
of age as on December 31, 2019.
-
The age of the candidates
must not be more than 25 years in age as on MAY 5, 2019.
-
The Candidates in order to apply for NEET 2019 must have qualified in their Class 12th or qualifying Exam or must be appearing in the same in 2019.
-
In which, they must have scored an aggregate of
50%(for UR), 45%(for PH) and 40%(for PH reserved, SC, ST, OBC)
in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and biology.
Thus, you can observe that it has nothing to do with B.Sc. Zoology and also you are over the bar of age according to NEET rules and regulations were given by NTA.
Conclusion: You can not apply for the reason given above but as the rules change each year accordingly, you can opt for next year keeping in mind whether the rul
es change till then You can not apply for MBBS.
I Consider this query has been solved.
Best Wishes!!
