Hi aspirant,

No, there is no rule or need to be medically examined at admission centre at the time of admission in NITs or IIITs. However, you need to get the medical certificate from an recognised hospital and there you will be medically examined by concerned doctors. If you belong to Gen- PwD category then you will also need to produce your certificate regarding this at the time of counselling and admission in the NITs or IIITs, whichever applicable.

Hope it helps you. You can know your college and branch options based on your rank and category by using the JEE Main college predictor tool by clicking on the following link: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
