Most top government colleges require Mathematics for B.A. (Hons.) in Economics, but a few may offer flexibility:

1. Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), Delhi – May accept students without Mathematics.
   
   
2. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh – Sometimes allows non-Maths students.
   
   
3. University of Hyderabad – Offers integrated Economics programs.
   
   
4. Pondicherry University – Provides Economics courses with varying eligibility.

Check each university’s latest admission criteria, as rules may change. Keep in mind that Economics Honours involves math-intensive coursework , so be prepared.
