i am a IGCSE student and is going to appear for next feb-march series 2021. I am worried that is it possible for me to continue my studies after A level(12th grade) in India? will it be easy for me to pass JEE? As the grading system in India differs from that in Cambridge will it be an obstacle?

Hello Vishal,
Dropping two year for Jee main is not a good decision.
This step have lots of disadvantages:
1. You are two year lag behind your schoolmates.
2. Jee main is not too tough exam so it will require two more year time to prepare for it after class 12.
3. Most of Companies allow 1 year drop with specific reason but generally not consider good if candidate have drop of more than one year.
4. Mental pressure can harm your performance .
There are other points which are not good for dropping 2 year for Jee main exam.
Candidate have other options rather than dropping two years for Jee main exam.
Candidate can take admission in normal institution and prepare for GATE in which paper is comparatively easier than Jee main . With help of Gate exam candidate can do masters from IIT,NIT and various premier institutions.
Candidate can do his/her engineering good with good CGPA and directly go for placement, and apply for placement through various platforms such as AMCAT, FIRSTNAUKRI.COM, etc.
Hope this helps you.
