I am a JEE aspirant and I have got 99 percentile in January attempt. As my parents income is very less, below 1 lakh per year category, I will have to get an income certificate made of my father, is it to be made on some format provided by nta or Josaa or just by that given by government?

Income certificate provide you fee relaxation according to your income .
Like in nits if your income is less than 2 lakh you will get 100% tuition fee waiver .
1-5 lakhs will get 2/3 of fee .
Sc/ St also get 100% fee waiver.
So if you do not have any income certificate proof; you have to pay full fee.
