I am a jee aspirant and i want to know that how many questions come from friction in jee mains and can i skip that topic

Hello aspirant,

As per the weightage statistics, there is normally one sure question from laws of motion and most probably that will be from the topic of friction. Any how if you check out the past question papers, you cannot find much papers without a question on friction. It is a really important topic in mechanics for any competitive exam.

So, it is never wise to leave any topic unattended. For learning basics of friction theory, you can use the book by HC Verma.
