I am a Lateral Entry 2nd year EXTC Engineering student at Mumbai University. Can i not give my 3rd & 4th sem exams in April/June 2021 respectively, take a drop and join the college again in 3rd sem in 23 August 2021 along with 1st year students who will get promoted to 2nd year.

Yes you can take a drop. But don't cancel your admission. If you don't give your 3rd and 4th semester then you are not passing but you can be promoted in 3rd year. But you have to clear your 3rd semester and 4th semester paper in 5th and 6th semester. And your college will be objection for this type of behavior you have to manage it. May they will call your parents for this. So whatever your decision is it, just think again and do accordingly.
