Hello,

If you're asking this question in terms of changing your stream, pursuing  BA Political Science then it's entirely your preference, though the eligibility criteria regarding this is candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board in any stream having studied English as compulsory subject, the required aggregate vary among colleges, and so does the admission process which can be merit or entrance based, if you're aiming for a career in civil service then this can be good preference as there is considerable overlap of gs studies and optional syllabus, there are other options of law, journalism, or you may pursued BEd/ or Master's degree for teaching in school and college respectively, however you need to know your reasons well if you wish to change your stream as in future you cannot go back to science stream, one's interest/aptitude matters tremendously when it comes to career selection, so think through all this and then only take decision.
