- The NEET cut off varies from year to year, state to state and as well as college to college. It also depends on the Quota you are applying through as well as the Category of Admission. Government and Private Colleges have cut-offs of their own.
- Assuming you are applying through the 15% All India Quota under General Category for a Government Medical College, the cut-off for NEET 2017 was Rank 5579 which corresponds to a score of approximately 520 marks out of 720.
- This year, as competition gets tougher every year, you must focus on getting a score above 540 to ensure a seat in a good Government Medical College.
All the very best for your preparations.
A rank in NEET under 4500 will get you a seat in Jharkhand Medical Colleges through all India Quota Seats.
For RIMS the cut off rank was around 3000.
However, for state quota, a state rank of less than 200 should get you a seat comfortably.
For that try getting a rank under 5000-6000.
All the best.
