i am a multiple physically disabled aiming at tissmat.i have 1% reservation in sub category of pwd. kindly tell my chances and competition
Hi,
The TISSMAT exam has been introduced for the first time this year along with the TISSNET exam of TISS. This exam is mainly for the candidates willing to take up the MA (HRM & LR) &/or MA (ODCL) programmes.
The TISSMAT will be conducted immediately after the TISSNET on 4th January 2020. Only the candidates applying for the courses mentioned above will be attempting the TISSMAT test.
The correct procedure is as follows:
1) Candidates need to give the TISSNET exam followed by TISSMAT.
2) TISSMAT scores will be aggregated and considered with the score of PIT & PI i.e the stage 2. For this one needs to clear the cut-off marks in the TISSNET exam to get to the stage 2.
3) The PWD cut-off for TISSNET 2019 was 51 marks out of 100 for the HRM & LR course.
4) Hence, if you clear the cut-off TISSNET and perform well in TISSMAT, Pre-Interview Test (PIT) and Personal Interview (PI) one has a good chance to convert the respective course.
As the number of PWD candidates appearing for the TISSNET and TISSMAT exam is unknown, one cannot comment on the actual competition at this moment.
Hope this addresses.
Thankyou.
