As per you query, i can understand that you must be from commerce background so let me clear you doubt that you can definitely get a admission in DU even though if don't have maths in 12th.

Now, most of the colleges under DU offers admission on the basis of merit which is your 12th board percentage.In top colleges like SRCC,Hindu,Ramjas etc the cutoff the very high almost above 97% in first round and one must have at least 95+ to be on safer side.Now apart from that some colleges also offer admission on the basis of entrance exam and for those colleges the cutoff requires to apply is usually 60% so you can apply for those colleges.
You Percentage will decide which college you will get but there are also some colleges where maths in compulsory so you will not get admission in those colleges.

You didn't mention the course for which you want to get admission in DU dear.

But yes , you can get admission in DU on the basis of percentage or marks obtained by you in your class 12th as DU offers admission on the basis of merit i.e percentage obtained in class XII board examination.

The cut off for getting into DU goes insanely high to huge craze among students for getting into DU .
So if you want to get into DU try to get at least 90+ % in your class 12th board examination.
