i am a physically handicapped student will i come under specially abled?

Hello,

‘Specially abled’ means that someone who has different capabilities in respect to the average person. It is a collective term, and may be used to describe a wide spectrum of disabilities, from blind people, to amputees, to wheelchair users. In short, it is an alternative description for a disabled person. So yes, as a physically handicapped student, you will fall under the category of specially abled. There are various criteria stated by the Government of India to understand more easily which falls under which category. You can check the official websites of UGC, AICTE, CBSE and various government education boards for more information.
