Basically in engineering you will study both the subjects,but physics just in one sem.If u go with the mechanical engineering u will see lot of math oriented subject,but you just cant decide based on just 2sub. So if ur really have intreset and also if ur confident that u will do engineering,best option is Mechanical and u can with  Iem branch also which is sub branch derived from mechanical.

This depends your interest. If you like mechanics then you can go for MECHANICAL engineering, if you like electrostatic, current and magnetism you can go for electrical engineering and if you like modern physics you can go for electrical and communication engineering.

Hey Aspirant, Well if you have your interest in Maths and Physics very well you can opt for Engineering in the branches of mechanical and computer science as they would satisfy your interest as well as these 2 fields have many scopes ahead but that is depends on how you pursue your interest.

Anchal which branch to persue after 12th for Engineering completely depends upon your interests. According to me branch should not be opted just on the interest basis you should first check the demand of the engineers , placements in that branch, etc.

If yiu want to go on the subject basis then mechanical is the branch that comprises of motors, engines, and other heavy motors whereas EC branch deals with semiconductors, diodes, etc so chose wisely.
