Hope you are doing well now. Sorry to hear that. So , if you didn't attend one or maximum two exams out of five or six main subjects ,  then you will be given compartment and you have to reappear for your exams in mid of the same year.

After passing Compartment exam...you can take admission in colleges.

However if you didn't appear in more than 3 4 subjects , you have to give exams on the upcoming year.
