I am a SC candidate and I have done my schooling in Delhi but I am from some other state. Will the Delhi SC candidate quota apply for me?

I would like to tell you that if You have to pursue your higher studies in delhi you can surely do it and about your SC quota it will be only eligible if you are citizen of that state or belong to that particular state because for applying in such type of quotas you should have a relevant paper’s proving you a SC candidate and this will only be able to get you in your native state where you have your home. So if you already have your documents regarding SC candidate than surely you will be eligible for it.

Dear candidate, if you passed both High School(10th standard) and Higher Secondary/Intermediate(10+2) or equivalent examinations from an recognised education institution located in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, then you will be eligible for Delhi quota. Also Supreme Court said in 2018 that, the rule that a person’s SC/ST status will not follow him to another state would not apply to the Union Territory (UT) of Delhi. So yes, you are eligible for Delhi SC quota.
