Hello,

You are absolutely eligible for M.Sc in Forensic Science after B.Sc in Nursing. But before go for it, just have look at the basis eligibility criterias for M.Sc Forensic Science,

According to our NEP (New Education Policy) a candidate has to hold a B.Sc degree in any stream or subject and he/she must have scored minimum 50-55 percent marks in aggregate depending upon the course.

You can get a job for these roles after getting a degree of M.Sc in Forensic Science

Forensic Expert

Crime Scene investigator

Teacher/ Professor

Forensic Linguists

Forensic Pathologist

Crime Reporter

Forensic Geologist

Forensic Scientist

Fingerprint Expert

Forensic Engineer

Forensic Chemist.

Top recruiters of MSc forensic science are Hospitals, private firms, police department, army, central government forensic labs. Overall it's a good carrier approach.

Good luck

pooja201777 It's not very difficult to get a job in a private company or firm but for government sector jobs you must need some year of experience. The initial salary would be 3-4 lacs per annum.

hi,

see you can do m.sc in forensic science after completing b.sc in nursing. the eligibility criteria for m.sc in forensic science is candidates must have completed bachelor of science course in relevant discipline from a recognized university. however it may be at first difficult to study for other stream students apart from b.sc forensic science since masters degree course is the research level studies and focus on the major discipline. however nothing is impossible if you have worked hard for it and have best interest. now coming to job trends b.sc nursing has more vacancy then forensic science in current market. after completing b.sc nursing or post b.sc nursing you have options to work for government hospitals as well as private hospitals.

hope you understand.
