For jee
Best book for physic is HC WARMA
- for chemistry - dinesh publication
For Boards, I would highly recommend NCERT from my personal experience amd keeping in mind the previous year question papers.
If we come to JEE mains and advance, then there are variety of books (e.g. Pradeeps, Modern, etc. ) available which are equally good. I would suggest if you are in an institution center for JEE or studying online you should choose the book as suggested by your source of learning. It will help you keep track of syllabus as the teacher is teaching as in various books syllabus is given in different order and this won't affect the quality because all the books provide same information in slightly different ways.
Other than this, do focus on getting an objective questions booklet because practice is much needed.
Good Luck !!!
First of all NCERT is textbook which is very effective for prepararing for board exams, other competitive exams. You should go through the NCERT book properly and carefully. It develops your basics knowledge. If you know the concepts then you can solve the questions. For making more practice in chemistry you should follow physical chemistry by N.Avasthi and organic chemistry by M.S.Chauhan of Bala ji publication. For advanced you should solve level 2 of these books also.
Hope you get it.
