Hello,

The requirements for admission after 12th standard depend upon your country of application.

  • For universities in USA and Canada, you will need to provide either SAT or ACT scores for admission to any program.
  • For other countries such as Australia, New Zealand and most European nations, you don't need SAT scores. Instead, your admission will be decided upon your 12th standard marks if you have graduated from a recognized state or central board of education. Students who have graduated from IB board are also easily accepted.
  • For admission to law programs, students will require LSAT test scores.

Apart from these requirements, English language proficiency test requirements are required for admission to universities in any country. Generally, the TOEFL iBT scores are the most widely accepted, especially in the United States. IELTS Academic is the most widely accepted in nations other than USA. Other tests include Cambridge CAE and PTE Academic.

If you want to go abroad for further studies , you first need to decide which country as every country has it's own examination requirements . For eg:- You need to give a English proficiency test , some countries accept TOEFL others accept IELTS. Most colleges have the requirements for a good SAT score and optional to give subject SAT's .if you want to choose a mathematical subject as your stream , its in your best interest to give subject SAT's for a better resume. All the best

The best option would be SAT exams . They grant you access to most of the foreign universities of the world .

To get admission in B.Tech course in foreign universities, you need to appear in SAT and TOEFL/ IELTS examination. SAT score is the basic requirement that one need to have while applying for admission in UG courses in foreign universities whereas TOEFL/ IELTS is a standardized test which helps you to prove your English Language Proficiency in Listening, Writing, Reading and Speaking sections. By scoring good marks in SAT and TOEFL/ IELTS examination, you can apply for admission in foreign universities and once you get admission letter, you can join in the university and you can pursue B.Tech course in Abroad. Hope this helps you. All the best.
