I am a student of class 12. I just want to know all requirements and details to get admission in London school of economics.
London School of Economics is an extremely competitive school for international students. There are two rounds for selecting international students for competitive courses such as Economics. If you are in the IB curriculum you may not have to go through the second round.
1. The first part is the application submitted through UCAS, which has your grades, SOP and a letter of recommendation from a relevant subject teacher.
2. If you qualify, you are asked to sit for a written examination that tests your mathematical skills, writing and comprehension skills, general knowledge and awareness in the field you wish to pursue. The best way to tackle this would be to practice math through the books used in their high schools. The mathematics questions asked are different from the ISC/ CBSE format as they are more application based. A good way to tackle this would be to use the books used in high schools there. For the essay, you must read on international affairs every day, specifically in your area of study. You can practice by downloading past LSE papers. For the precise writing on the provided comprehension, you must write a precise everyday to manage time effectively.
