I am a student of commerce stream can I eligible for ba economics honours and how much percentage deduction we can face
Dear Student,
The eligibility for studying BA Economics Honors, the students should have completed their 10 +2th level examination from a recognized board.
The Bachelor of Economics degree is a three-years undergraduate degree with a focus on qualitative and quantitative aspects of economics. The courses of study include micro economics and macro economics, econometrics, statistics, history of economics, political economy etc.
Pursuing this B.A. Economics Degree a candidate can give examination in Banking, Academics or any Commerce related field.
Thank You.
The basic eligibility criteria to get admission in BA. Economics hons is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 from any stream with atleast 45% aggregates, so if you passed 10+2 from Commerce stream then you're eligible for the admission in Economics hons, the cutoff is different from college to college and also every college has different admission procedure and eligibility criteria so we can't tell you about the deduction of your percentage while taking admission, as it depends from college to college.
Hope this helps, all the best.
