Hello, you can join any private college or government college which takes admission based on class 12 marks. You can join engineering college after a year drop also so you should look such colleges in India which take admission on the above condition and if you have given January exam you can look colleges based on your Jee mains marks. Hope this will help you. https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-jee-main-april/

Hello aspirant,

The two important eligibility criteria of JEE Mains as of 2020 are the following:

  • You need to obtain just pass certificate in class 12 irrespective of any percentage
  • JEE Main candidates can participate in the entrance exam for 3 consecutive years.

Since you passed out in 2020, you are eligible for JEE Mains in the consecutive next two years that is in 2021 and 2022. So it really doesn't matter if you dropped this year, you still have 2*2=4 attempts lefts (twice every year for 2 years).

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Yes you can definitely apply for admission in any of the engineering college not accepting JEE main exam marks, there are many good reputed private colleges those do not accept JEE main exam marks, and give admission on the basis of 12th marks or on the basis of their own entrance test marks , one year of GAP does not matter while taking admission in any of the engineering college, you can go for any private Engineering College those does not accept JEE main marks.

Here I'm mentioning some of the engineering colleges takes admission on the basis of their own entrance exam marks or on the basis of your 12th marks:

1. BITS Pilani

2. NSIT Delhi

3. VIT

4. MIT Pune

5. RV College of Engineering

Hope this helps, all the best.
