Hey Aditya,

It depends on you what you like to study and which subject will grab your interest. ETC has a broad line and can have more opportunities. You can get placement in core companies as well as IT companies. But in CSE you can only apply for IT companies. If you have an interest in code as we as electronics making then go for ETC if not then CSE will be best for you.

Hope that helps

Hello Aditya,

Well Elelctronics and Telecommunication Engineering is a good branch of engineering and has a good future. One can work as an electronic engineer in the telecommunication industry. Recruiters like BSNL, Airtel, Ericsson etc. take students from ETC branch and starting salary is also good. Now, if you are interested in the software design and all then you can go for CSE branch. In that case you may change your alloted branch to CSE in the spot round. CSE branch has also a very vast future as softwares are involving day by day and the IT industry requires software engineers. Overall, both the branches ETC and CSE are good and has demand in the current market. So its your call which one you will choose to persue your career.

All the best !!!
