Hello Aspirant,
Indian Administrative service (IAS) is considered one of the most prestigious yet toughest position to qualify for. To become an IAS officer one must qualify in the civil services examination conducted by the union public service commission (UPSC) of India. This exam is conducted every year and recruits candidates to 25 different services including IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and so on. This exam is conducted in three steps/tiers.
For preliminary examination there will be two papers.
Paper 1 (100 questions of 200 marks in total in 2 hours)
Paper2 (2 hours, 80 questions, 200 marks)
