hello,
If you are an engineering graduate, I need to inform you first that all canadian universities have an eligibility criteria that states 10+2+4 years of education and a bachelors degree in Psychology or in a related field is mandatory for admission in Canada to do Masters in Psychology.
If you haven't had psychology as a subject, you will have to do a course that makes you eligible to pursue a masters in psychology. Yes, you can switch streams, but you will have to pay the expenses of getting a formal education in psychology again. And if you had it as a subject, even a minor, then you are automatically eligible for almost all universities. Then you will just have to get the desired GRE and IELTS /TOEFL Scores for admission.
Hope this helped. good luck !!
