I am an Ex serviceman retired from Indian Air Force in Mar 2017.Can I appear in PCS J exam.My date of birth is 30 Jun 1977.

Hello sir,
There is obviously an opportunity for you to sit for the examination, provided the maximum age concession of 5 years for ex-servicemen who have rendered a minimum of 5 years of military service (according to the Re-employment in Central Civil Services and Posts Rules, 1979). Ex-servicemen has no such bar on number of attempts till they reach the age limit. There are similar other relaxations for candidates of backward classes as well.
Hope it helps. Good luck !
