hi ,

As an International Baccalaureate (IB) student aiming to appear for NEET 2025, it's essential to convert your IB grades into equivalent percentages for the application process. The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) provides a suggested conversion scale for this purpose:

IB Grade Indian Equivalent Marks (%)
7 96 - 100
6 83 - 95
5 70 - 82
4 56 - 69
3 41 - 55
2 21 - 40
1 1 - 20

Steps to Calculate Your Percentage:

  1. Identify Your IB Grades: Note the IB grades you've received for each subject.

  2. Determine the Corresponding Percentage Range: Use the table above to find the percentage range corresponding to each IB grade.

  3. Calculate the Midpoint: For each subject, calculate the midpoint of the percentage range associated with your IB grade.

    • Example: An IB grade of 6 corresponds to a percentage range of 83-95%. The midpoint is (83 + 95) / 2 = 89%.
  4. Compute the Overall Percentage: Average the midpoints of all your subjects to determine your overall percentage.

    • Example: If your midpoints for six subjects are 89%, 78%, 85%, 92%, 88%, and 90%, your overall percentage would be (89 + 78 + 85 + 92 + 88 + 90) / 6 ≈ 87%.

hope this helps

As an IB student appearing for NEET 2025 , you need to convert your Level-based grades into a percentage . The IB grading system (1-7) does not directly provide percentages, so follow these steps:

  1. Check your school's conversion chart (if available). Many schools provide a scale to convert IB grades into percentages.
  2. If your school does not have a conversion scale, use a general guideline:
    • 7 = 96-100%
    • 6 = 90-95%
    • 5 = 80-89%
    • 4 = 70-79% (varies by institution).

Verify with NEET authorities for official conversion requirements.

Hello,

Since the IB (International Baccalaureate) program provides grades in levels (1 to 7) instead of percentages, you need to convert your IB grades to percentages for NEET 2025 . Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Use IB to Percentage Conversion :

    • IB Level 7 → 96-100%
    • IB Level 6 → 83-95%
    • IB Level 5 → 70-82%
    • IB Level 4 → 56-69%
    • IB Level 3 → 41-55%
    • IB Level 2 → 21-40%
    • IB Level 1 → 1-20%
  2. Check NEET's Official Guidelines :

    • NEET might have specific conversion criteria for IB students.
  3. Contact NEET Authorities :

    • Reach out to NTA (National Testing Agency) for clarification.
  4. Use School’s Conversion Scale :

    • Some IB schools provide an official percentage equivalent.
  5. Calculate Overall Percentage :

    • Take the average of converted subject percentages.

Hope you find it useful !
