NEET PYQ's & Solutions: Physics | Chemistry | Biology
Hello there,
Since you have completed an American High School Diploma and have an AIU equivalence certificate for class 12, your situation for MBBS admission in India is as follows:
Equivalence from BFUHS : If you're applying under the Punjab domicile quota and not as an NRI, you typically won’t require additional equivalence certification from BFUHS. The AIU equivalence certificate should suffice for meeting eligibility requirements. However, it's recommended to confirm this directly with BFUHS or through their admission brochure for clarity.
NEET Qualification Code : Based on your education background, you fall under NEET Code 02 . This code applies to students who have completed 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board, which your AIU equivalence certificate confirms.
NRI Status Clarification : You will only need equivalence from BFUHS if you plan to apply under the NRI category. As a Punjab domicile holder applying under the state quota, you don’t need to pursue this unless explicitly stated in the admission guidelines.
It’s best to keep all necessary documents, including your domicile and AIU equivalence certificate, ready for verification during the application or counseling process. For more details about MBBS in India Click Here .

You are in code 7 this code is only for those students who are pursuing their education from any foreign boards of education.i. Your case which is from aiu equivalence..So this code is for the NRI students.
As there is no age limit for NEET and if you have PC and biology as your subject, than are eligible for NEET.
GOOD LUCK!!
Considering that you have Punjab Domicile, in india you are eligible for Indian NEET code, this code is typically assigned to anyone who's completed their schooling in India or have equivalent qualifications recognised by Indian Authorities, but you might be given an NRI equivalence if and only if they just consider the place you have done your +2 in. Reach out to the admissions office at BFUHS to inquire about their specific requirements for students with AIU equivalence and Indian domicile. They can provide the most accurate and up-to-date information.
All the very best!
