The exam is very near now and this score in mock test is really not good for any candidates.  Now, only thing you can do is practice more and more, it's not the time to go for deep reading of concepts. Take a thorough and quick revision of your notes, revise important formulas and try to solve various mock tests and previous year question papers to improve your score.

Hello aspirant,

It’s absolutely possible to improve your JEE score with focused preparation, even at this stage. Here’s a structured plan to make the most of your time:

1. Focus on Problem Practice

  • Since you have practiced little so far, prioritize solving previous years' questions and topic-wise problems from trusted sources like NCERT Exemplars, Arihant, or Resonance.

  • Begin with easier topics that have higher weightage (see list below) to build confidence.

    2. Prioritize High-Scoring Topics

Focus on topics that are relatively simpler and have a good weightage:

  • Mathematics : Coordinate Geometry, Probability, Matrices and Determinants, Vector and 3D, Limits and Derivatives.

  • Physics : Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Thermodynamics.

  • Chemistry : Chemical Bonding, Coordination Compounds, Surface Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Organic Reactions (Named Reactions).

    3. Analyze Your Mock Tests

  • Review the mock test where you scored 1/300 . Identify weak areas and common mistakes (e.g., conceptual gaps, silly errors, time management).

  • Attempt sectional mock tests to improve accuracy and speed in specific areas.

    4. Time Allocation and Daily Plan

  • Morning (6–9 AM) : Revise key formulas, concepts, and theory (1–2 topics only).

  • Afternoon (11–2 PM) : Solve 30–40 questions from the same topic you revised in the morning.

  • Evening (4–7 PM) : Practice a previous year's question paper or topic-wise test .

  • Night (9–11 PM) : Revise mistakes and reattempt incorrect questions.

    5. Strengthen Concepts

  • For conceptual clarity , use quick video tutorials or concise notes.
  • Use NCERTs for Chemistry , particularly inorganic and physical chemistry.

    6. Improve Speed and Accuracy

  • Start solving questions under timed conditions to simulate exam pressure.
  • Focus on shortcuts and tricks for repetitive calculations in Maths and Physics.

    7. Maintain Health and Motivation

  • Study in focused intervals of 2–3 hours , taking short breaks to avoid burnout.

  • Sleep 6–7 hours daily, and eat a balanced diet to keep your mind sharp.

  • Stay motivated with reminders of your goals.

    What to Avoid

  • Don’t waste time on topics that feel too difficult at this point.
  • Avoid lengthy theoretical reading without practice.

With consistent practice, review, and strategy, your scores can see a significant improvement in the remaining time.
