Hello Ankita,
You have a decent academic record. With the advantage of being NC-OBC and a female candidtate, you can expect a few calls from IIMs provided you clear their cut-offs.
The calls will mainly be from new IIMs and if lucky enough you can get one or two from old IIMs. Keep hopes.
Good Luck.
Hello,
Every institute has these shortlisting criteriafor which they select candidates for interviews. Every institute has a minimum application score you must clear to make it to the interview shortlist.
The institute that you graduate from also no bearing, except the scaling that the IIM's do with the CGPA. Most good institutes have their CGPA's unchanged, some are scaled down/up marginally.
IIM Ahmedabad:
The CAT percentile cut off for someone with a 9, 9, 8.5+ this year was around 99.65+ percentile. As the application rating of the candidate decreases, the score required for a call will rise accordingly. Considering a scaled score of 190 for 99.65 percentile, the composite score cut off is calculated as follows:
Composite Score = 0.3*AR + 0.7*190/300 = 0.7433.
Correspondingly for all iims
