i am an NRI currently studying in hyderabad telangana pursuing my 12th standard .i aspire to write the neet exam in 2020. will i be eliible to compete in the open quota and will i be able to get a seat in open quota if i am able to crack the examination.

Dear Abdullah, for you to be able to able to participate in Telangana Counselling, either you should be a local.or.a non local. To be a local Candidate, you should have resided in the area for a period of not less than 4 years and the last year should have been in 12th. For non local, Candidates should have been a resident of Telangana for 10 years. Now these are the Candidates eligible for Telangana NEET State Counselling. If you are a NRI, you cannot compete under Open Quota. You have to compete in NRI quota. NRI students are eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS under Management Quota Category - C seats.
