NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
The NEET cut off varies from year to year, state to state and as well as college to college. It also depends on the Quota you are applying through as well as the Category of Admission. Government and Private Colleges have cut-offs of their own.
Assuming you are applying through the 15% All India Quota under OBC Category for a Government Medical College, the cut-off for NEET 2017 was Rank 5922 which corresponds to a score of approximately 450 marks out of 720.
The competition is quite vigorous. If you apply for 85% State Quota, you chances will still be bleak for a medical or dental seat. Please keep your options open and consider an alternative. All the best!
Based upon your score in NEET 2018, and the previous year cutoff, chances are less for admission to Government Medical Colleges under All India Quota and state quota. You may have chances in Deemed Universities. Use NEET College Predictor to Check Your expected MBBS/BDS colleges based on Your NEET AIR
